INJURIES WHILST PARTICIPATING IN RNA NETBALL
If you suffer an injury whilst participating in a sanctioned netball activity at Randwick Netball Association or one of our affiliated clubs
- you are covered by Netball Australia Insurance – Howden Insurance Group. The injury must be reported to the Association and you can make a Personal Accident claim
- please report the injury to the Control Room or complete and email the RNA Incident Report Form (link below) form and email to admin@randwicknetball.com.au
- you have access to our Physiotherapist partner YS Phsyio. Yves Silveira is at our Physio Room each Saturday and is available for initial assessment, taping, injury treatment advice etc. Yves can also assist you complete the Personal Accident Claim form as he can sign as the RNA authorized person.

If you are a member of a Netball Australia State/Territory Association or Club and you have suffered an injury whilst participating in a netball or netball related activity (including training, competing, official social event, fundraising activity or other sanctioned activity) please click on the link below for details on how to lodge a Personal Accident claim. (*Please note this does not apply to private/business run competitions or school competitions. You should contact the organiser of that competition to enquire about their insurance coverage).
INJURY PREVENTION & TREATMENT
If you have any injury concerns, want advice, need taping etc please consult our Physiotherapist partner, YS PHYSIO. Yves Silveira has been a physiotherapist for 11 years and has a wide range of experience working with high performance netball environments such the NSW high performance pathways, Waratahs, Swifts, UTS Randwick Sparks and Randwick Representative netball program. He is available to consult with clubs & players about strength & conditioning and injury prevention, treatment and remedial sports massage etc.
